Books, Billy Goats, Building and Bowling - Part 2Monday, August 20, 2012
So...I know the days are getting shorter, and some of us are already back to school...but there is still a bit of summer fun to be had if you like building and bowling!
A couple posts ago, I shared Part 1 of our fun filled weekend were we had a playdate, enjoyed a free play of the Billy Goats Gruff and spent some time at our library. The second half to that weekend was the Lowe's Build to Grow clinics and free bowling!
Luckily for us, there is still one more Dreamworks inspired Build and Grow clinic left, this weekend! But they don't stop there! A Chuck-E-Cheese building set will start in September!
You can register online and check availability at a Lowe's near you! And trust me, register for two because you will want to go back. The kids receive their own apron and goggles to keep and bring back each time. And after completing the kit, you might walk out with a sore thumb, but the kids will walk out with a smile on their face, a new toy and a patch that you can iron onto their apron at home!
But before you go, sign up with AMF Summer Unplugged program. Kids under 15 receive 2 free games of bowling, every day until 8pm, until September 3rd. Print your vouchers and they are good for the week. But remember, you do have to pay for shoes, that run about $5 each.
Still, not a bad deal!
